The close is the natural conclusion to a well delivered presentation.

Number 1 closing tip is to have the prospect want what you are offering before you get to the close.

Although you are closing throughout the presentation, in this context the close is a section of the presentation at the end where you ask for commitment.

Closing starts with mindset.

Closing starts with embracing sales.

Sell from honesty, integrity, and compassion
Selling is about leading
Selling is about moving people to action

You can also call closing, enrolling

One of the best closing tip I know is to use a great closing script.  Human beings respond in predictable ways.  Once you find a script that works you say it over and over again.

The way to craft a great close is to dissect it.  I look at a close as a series of scripts woven together.

The first step in crafting a great close is to identify the components of the close.

Incentive for buying today
Consequences of not taking action
Call to action
What you will learn

Once you have identified the components of the close the next step is sequence

The sequence of the close is the order the components go it.

The close script is the word-for-word script when you are asking for commitment.

The close script is actually a series of mini close scripts.  Each step in the close sequence is a mini script.  So if you have a guarantee you would state that in the close.  That would be the guarantee mini script.

Once you have the sequence write down a mini script for each section in the sequence.

Success Assignment

Make a list of the components of your close.  Put the components in order.
